Arizona Gives Day

Every day 9,000 pets are killed in American shelters.  However, the Yavapai Humane Society bucks that trend.  YHS is the safest shelter in Arizona and among the safest in the nation with a lifesaving rate of 97%.  A better tomorrow begins with a better today.  Support the Yavapai Humane Society and save lives on AZ Gives day – visit www.azgives.org to make your donation.

Arizona Gives Day

The day Arizona unites to build a better future

You might have already heard about Arizona Gives Day. Arizona Gives Day is a day for Arizonans to come together to make donations to as many nonprofits as possible in 24 hours. On April 9, from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm, supporters of Arizona nonprofits will go online, connect with causes they care about, and make tax-deductible donations. Supporters will search for participating nonprofits and simply click to donate. The donation stays local and helps our nonprofit community provide much needed services in the state of Arizona.

Yavapai Humane Society needs your help.

Recently, in addition to providing the best care possible for our many wonderful animals, YHS took in a dog with severe neglect injuries and treated him until he was adoptable, we cared for several litters of abandoned puppies, and we even found the perfect home for a special dog,  Copper, who was the pet of one of Prescott's 19 fallen Granite Mountain Hotshots.

Already a supporter? Consider giving again.

Additional grants are given to the nonprofit that raises the most money, has the most individual donors and the most money in rural areas. Even if you already make a regular donation to YHS, please consider making another, small gift on Arizona Gives Day!
