The Yavapai Humane Society (YHS) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in March 2012.
In keeping with the 40th Anniversary theme YHS
is offering during the months of February and March:
·
- Dog adoptions for $40. Every dog comes with a spay/neuter surgery, current vaccinations, microchip, 1 month of pet insurance, and a free wellness exam from one of YHS’ local veterinary supporters (a $450 value). (Puppies, purebreds and dogs less than 15 pounds are $120.)
- Cat adoptions: adopters choose their price. (Kittens less than 6 months of age are $95.)
- Any three items at the YHS Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic for $40. Items include microchip, Rabies, DA2PPV, Bordatella, and FVRCP vaccinations (a $67 value).
YHS is also announcing the launch of its new website designed
to be more user friendly; providing more information about animal behavior and
pet care. Every page features a photo of
an animal adopted from YHS. “We hope to
collect an adopted animal photo for every year since 1972,” says Missy
Paschke-Wood, Marketing & Development Director. “Folks can email pictures
to us, or bring them in to the shelter where we can scan them.”
